P41DESCRIPTION
The P41 is a medium rutile coated electrode yielding a moderately quick-setting type of slag. P41 is a general purpose electrode combining great weldor appeal with exceptional mechanical properties while requiring minimal operator skill. High titania-potassium coating offers a smooth, steady arc with either AC or DC or low open circuit voltage transformers. Spatter is low.
APPLICATIONS
P41SDESCRIPTION
P41S is similar to P41, but an addition of FE2O2 makes the color reddish and increases the recovery.
APPLICATIONS
P42DESCRIPTION
P42 is a multi-purpose rutile electrode suitable for a wide application range in mild steel. The electrode is all-positional and produces a smooth bead surface with good slag detachability and low spatter. It is recommended for welding structures in thin and medium thick plates with different types of joint and welding positions.
APPLICATIONS
P46DESCRIPTION
P46 is a versatile thin electrode. The shallow penetrating characteristic permits use on thin sections and on poor fit-up joints.
